이번 여름 USTC에서 2024 USTC 미래과학자교류프로그램(USTC FuSEP)이 시작됨을 알려드리게 되어 기쁩니다. 올해 프로그램은 2024년 7월 1일부터 8월 25일까지 중국 안후이성 허페이에서 'Summer Research' 형식으로 진행됩니다.
I. 프로그램의 내용은 무엇입니까?
2024 FuSEP 여름 연구 프로그램은 "공유된 미래를 위한 과학과 기술"을 주제로 4-8주 동안 USTC 교수의 지도를 받는 실험 팀에서 과학 연구 프로젝트를 수행할 우수한 학생을 선발할 예정입니다. 참가자들은 USTC에서 연구 결과와 경험을 강조하는 보고서를 제출할 것으로 예상됩니다. 이 프로그램은 연구 경험을 넘어 학문적 주제에 대한 계몽 강의, 국립 연구소 방문, 문화 유적지 견학, USTC 학생 동아리와의 교류 기회 등 다양한 활동을 제공합니다. 자세한 정보는 웹사이트 http://fusep.ustc.edu.cn 에서 확인할 수 있습니다
연구과제분야 : 물리, 화학, 재료과학, 생명과학, 의학, 지구 및 우주과학, 수학*, 공학*, 컴퓨터과학 및 기술*
*참고: 수학, 공학 및 컴퓨터 과학 및 기술 분야의 학부생을 위한 프로젝트는 젊은 과학자를 위한 글로벌 연구 몰입 프로그램(GripS) 아래 저장 대학, 난징 대학 및 푸단 대학과 공동으로 수행됩니다. 따라서 이 세 분야에 관심이 있는 학부생은 GripS(http://grips.zju.edu.cn )를 통해 지원해야 합니다.
II. 프로그램 기간
학부생 - 2024년 7월 1일부터 8월 25일까지
졸업생 - 2024년 7월 1일부터 7월 30일까지
III. 대상학생
·USTC에 체류하는 동안 홈 대학교에서 학부생 또는 대학원생으로 전일 등록한 경우
·2024년 여름까지 2년 이상 해당 전공 전임 학부 과정 수료
·영어에 대한 지식이 풍부하고 CGPA(누적 평점 평균)가 "B" 이상인 학업우수자.

V. 혜택
·등록금 및 등록금 면제
·우수 학생에게는 여행 보조금(해외 시민권 학생에 한함), 보험, 현지 숙박 등의 지원이 제공
·참여증명서 및 성과평가 제공
·향후 학위 과정을 신청하는 유학생은 해당 프로그램의 수료증을 취득한 경우, 후원을 받을 수 있는 우선권 부여

Greetings from the University of Science and Technology of China (USTC)!
We are excited to share with you that the 2024 USTC Future Scientist Exchange Program (USTC FuSEP) will be kicked off at USTC this summer. The program this year will take the form of Summer Research from July 1st to August 25th, 2024 in Hefei, Anhui, China.
I. What is the program about?
With the theme of "Science and Technology for a Shared Future", the 2024 FuSEP Summer Research Program will select excellent students to work on scientific research projects in experimental teams supervised by USTC professors for 4-8 weeks. Participants are expected to submit a report highlighting their research findings and experiences at USTC. Beyond the research experience, the program offers a diverse array of activities, including enlightening lectures on academic topics, visits to national laboratories, tours to cultural sites, and the chance to interact with USTC student clubs. Field of research projects: Physics, Chemistry, Materials Sciences, Life Sciences, Medicine, Earth and Space Sciences, Mathematics*, Engineering*, Computer Science and Technology*
*Note: The projects for undergraduates in the fields of Mathematics, Engineering and Computer Science and Technology are jointly conducted with Zhejiang University, Nanjing University, and Fudan University under the Global Research Immersion Program for Young Scientists (GripS). Thus, undergraduates interested in these three fields should apply through GripS (http://grips.zju.edu.cn).
II. Program Duration
For undergraduates, July 1st to August 25th, 2024
For graduates, July 1st to July 30th, 2024
III. Target Students
·Full-time registered as an undergraduate or graduate student at home university during the stay at USTC;
·Having completed at least two years of full-time undergraduate studies in the relevant major by the Summer of 2024;
·Academic Excellence with a CGPA (Cumulative Grade Point Average) of “B” or above, with good knowledge of English.

V. Benefits
·Waived tuition and registration fees;
·Excellent students will be supported by USTC Fellowship which may include a travel grant (for students of overseas citizenship only), insurance, and local accommodation;
·Provided Certificate of Participation and Performance Evaluation;
·International students who apply for degree programs in the future will be given priority for winning a sponsorship if they have obtained the certificate of the program.
