Welcome to the 2024 Spring Semester at Yonsei GSIS!

As your Dean, I am delighted to extend a warm welcome to all of you, whether you are joining us for the first time, returning after a well-deserved winter break, or visiting South Korea as part of an exchange program.

At Yonsei GSIS, we take great pride in our diverse student body, representing a mix of cultures, backgrounds, and perspectives. This rich diversity enhances the academic experience and fosters an inclusive learning environment where students can learn from one another, share their unique insights, and broaden their horizons.

To our new students, I encourage you to embrace the journey ahead with enthusiasm and curiosity. Get involved in student clubs and associations and explore Korean culture.

To our returning students, welcome back! Your dedication and perseverance continue to inspire us all.

Let's make this semester even more memorable than last as we continue to grow and learn together. Thanks for your patience during the renovations on the 7th, 6th, and 5th floors over the past year. The stunning physical transformation represents a new beginning that is well-deserving of the most prestigious professional graduate school in Asia. Looking forward, we hope to continue renovating our spaces to provide an even better academic and social environment.

As we start a new semester, I encourage you to seize every opportunity for growth and development. Let us prioritize academic excellence and find fulfillment and happiness in our studies and pursuits.
