Fall 2023 Visa Agency Service for Foreign Students
Yonsei OIA will be operating Fall 2023 HireVisa Visa Agency Service (online group application for Alien Registration and Extension of Period of Stay) to assist foreign students.
1. Undergraduate/graduate degree program students, exchange students, and visiting students are eligible to apply.
2. Application Period & Fee
Type Eligbility Period Fee Alien Registration (new) Students who entered Korea with a D-2 visa Sep. 1 (Fri) ~ Sep. 11 (Mon) 41,000 KRW Extension of Period of Stay Students who need extension due to the expiry of their D-2 visa Aug. 28 (Mon) ~ Sep. 13 (Wed) 71,000 KRW - Application: https://www.hirevisa.com/yonsei

- Additional charges may occur due to exchange rates and fees
- You MUST be in Korea in order to apply
- F-4 visa holders must apply on their own3. Alien Registration: takes about 8 weeks to complete
- Process: Apply online (https://www.hirevisa.com/yonsei) > Photo Shoot (applicants only on September 13 @Global Lounge) > Fingerprint Registration (Global Lounge) > ARC Distribution (Global Lounge)
- Global Lounge is at the center of 백양누리(The Commons, Baekyang Nuri)
- Expected dates of fingerprint registration and ARC distribution: further notice will be sent via email once decided.
- It is mandatory for all foreign students to apply for Alien Registration within 90 days from their arrival date.
- If you leave Korea before receiving ARC, your D-2 will be cancelled.
4. Extension of Period of Stay: takes about 6 weeks to complete
5. Notice
- All application process will be notified by e-mail. Please be sure to provide a valid email address and double check when applying (please input an e-mail account other than QQ since it does not work often in our system).
- For any inquiries related to visa, please contact HireVisa through the Q&A link (https://hirevisa.channel.io/) (consultation available in Korean, Chinese, English, and Japanese).
- Students must apply individually by visiting the Immigration Office if they do not apply through the group application service (reservation required at HiKorea at https://www.hikorea.go.kr/Main.pt)

국제처는 우리대학 유학생들의 출입국 업무를 지원하고자, 2023-2학기 출입국 민원대행 서비스(외국인등록 및 체류기간 연장 온라인 단체 접수)를 시행합니다.
1. 대상: 학부·대학원 학위과정생, 교환학생, 방문학생

- 체류자격 F-4 (재외동포) 소지자: 신청 불가
3. 외국인등록: 신청 마감일로부터 8주 내외 소요)
- 절차: 신청(https://www.hirevisa.com/yonsei) > 사진 촬영(희망자에 한함, 2023. 9. 13. 글로벌라운지) > 지문 등록(글로벌라운지) > 외국인등록증 배부(글로벌라운지)
- 지문 등록 및 외국인등록증 배부 일정: 일정 확정 시 이메일 안내 예정
- 모든 외국인 유학생은 D-2 (유학) 사증으로 입국 후 90일 이내에 반드시 외국인등록을 신청해야 함
- 외국인등록증 수령 전 대한민국 출국 시 기존 D-2 (유학) 사증의 효력은 상실됨
4. 체류기간 연장: 신청 마감일로부터 6주 내외 소요

- 진행 절차는 이메일로 안내되므로, 신청 시 정확한 이메일 주소를 기재해 주시기 바랍니다(QQ 계정은 메일 수신에 문제가 빈번히 발생하므로, 다른 계정을 사용할 것).
- 모든 문의는 상단의 링크(https://hirevisa.channel.io/)를 통해 진행하여 주시기 바랍니다(한국어, 중국어, 영어, 일본어 상담 가능).
- 단체 접수를 신청하지 않는 학생의 경우 하이코리아 예약 등을 통해 출입국사무소에 개별 신청해주시기 바랍니다(https://www.hikorea.go.kr/Main.pt).
