Information on the Free Korean Language Training Program for Foreign Graduate Students
(In collaboration with the Online King Sejong Institute)
As part of the Graduate School's Graduate School Innovation Project, we are collaborating with the King Sejong Institute to run a free Korean language education program for international graduate students at Yonsei University. We welcome all interested graduate students to participate!
□ What is the "Online King Sejong Institute"?
1. A learning platform that provides customized Korean language instruction online.
2. It is available on both computer and mobile devices.
3. After taking an online level test, the Online King Sejong Institute provides customized learning according to your proficiency level
□ How to use:
1. Length of Program: 2024. 9. 30.(Monday) ~ 12. 8.(Sunday) (10 week program)

2. Education process:
※ Formats can be changed based off participant numbers.
※ King Sejong Institute classes from Intermediate 1 onwards are taught only in Korean.
※ Real-time online lectures are held for two hours on either Thursday between 7 pm~11 pm.
□ Who can apply: Any foreign student enrolled in Yonsei University's Graduate School (일반대학원)
□ Applications are open until Friday, September 13, 2024
□ How to apply:
1. Register at King Sejong Institute online (www.iksi.or.kr) and take the level test (save the level test result as a PDF)
- See the attached file for instructions on how to register and take the Level Test.
- When registering, please use the same name (word order/upper-case/lower-case/commas, etc.) and email address as registered in Yonsei Portal.
2. Fill out the Online King Sejong Institute Application Form
- Submit to: https://forms.gle/NKZDaHN3oE5RQYDK9 , ysgrad_inno@yonsei.ac.kr
3. Log in to the Online King Sejong Institute (www.iksi.or.kr) from September 30, 2024 and take the course in [My Classroom].
□ Notices:
1. All classes are free.
2. The purpose of the level test is to provide lesson content that matches your Korean proficiency level.
3. Past participants can apply again, and applications may be closed early if there are many applicants.
